Kate Douglas is a senior architect for Outlines Landscape Architecture in Melbourne. Her experience has been in design-focused architectural practices where the detail is as important as the spirit behind the very first concept. She is particularly interested in public realm design that speaks to the community, either directly through a consultation process, or via the end experience of material and place.
STELR aims to raise awareness of opportunities in technology-related careers in order to increase the number of students choosing science and engineering careers and to address the shortage of science and engineering graduates. One of the reasons that students do not choose to pursue these careers is that they often do not understand what the career entails. You can find more inspirational career profiles on our website at stelr.org.au.
